Abstrak

Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah pengalaman domestik ibu rumah tangga dari ruang privat menjadi ruang digital yang terhubung, interaktif, dan berbasis algoritma. Artikel ini bertujuan menyintesis penggunaan media sosial pada ibu rumah tangga, motivasi penggunaan, faktor risiko penggunaan media sosial yang bermasalah, serta implikasinya terhadap kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan naratif terhadap literatur yang membahas media sosial, peran ibu rumah tangga, faktor psikososial, dinamika keluarga, dan kesehatan mental dalam konteks transformasi digital. Media sosial digunakan ibu rumah tangga sebagai sarana komunikasi, pencarian informasi pengasuhan dan kesehatan keluarga, dukungan sosial, hiburan, ekspresi diri, serta pemberdayaan ekonomi digital. Motivasi penggunaannya meliputi kebutuhan afiliasi sosial, regulasi emosi, pengurangan kebosanan, validasi sosial, dan akses terhadap komunitas parenting. Faktor risiko penggunaan yang bermasalah mencakup rendahnya harga diri, kesepian, depresi, kecemasan, Fear of Missing Out, impulsivitas, rendahnya kontrol diri, perbandingan sosial, konflik keluarga, stres pengasuhan, rendahnya fungsi keluarga, serta desain platform seperti notifikasi, infinite scrolling, autoplay, dan algoritma berbasis emosi. Penggunaan yang tidak terkontrol berimplikasi pada peningkatan depresi, kecemasan, stres, penurunan harga diri, gangguan konsep diri, konflik keluarga, serta penurunan kualitas relasi ibu-anak akibat technoference. Media sosial memiliki peran ambivalen sebagai sumber dukungan sekaligus faktor risiko psikologis bagi ibu rumah tangga.
